ABOUT MIKE

Mike is a 20-year US Navy veteran and has played music for over 45 years. 

 "It was always tugging at my heart to start the musical group Steel Rail Express," says Mike. Its genre would include old country music, top 40 country, Beach and Funk, and Motown.

SUPPORTING NASHVILLE'S MILITARY FAMILIES THROUGH WISH FOR OUR HEROES

Mike Ponder serves on the Nashville Chapter committee of Wish for Our Heroes, an organization supporting active-duty military and some veterans in the Nashville area, including Fort Campbell. The chapter provides resources to address small issues before they escalate, aiming to ease deployment challenges and improve family life for military members.
